Learning Outcomes
*Meet professional standards while working in a supervised internship placement for a total of 120 hours
*Master a set of self-designed learning objectives through completion of learning activities
*Reflect on the development of academic and professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions obtained in a field-based setting in relation to professional (CSHSE) and program standards

Submit weekly blog posts (8 weeks are required to pass the course)
Comment on a minimum of 2 other student blogs each week (8 weeks for passing)

Quarterly Planning Meeting
Attend a quarterly planning meeting with instructor to discuss performance evaluation and essay from Fall quarter, current learning objectives/activities, career directions and assistance needed.
Field Visit
Schedule a 45 minute field visit between yourself, your agency supervisor, and your course instructor.

Course Alignment with CSHSE National Standards
The standards below are taken from the National Standards of the Council for Standards in Human Service Education {for more info}. Standards are met in more than one course, but specifications may be met in only one course. Below are the specifications that have been designated for inclusion in this course.
# 17 Learning experiences shall be provided for the student to develop interpersonal skills.
#19: The program shall transmit the major human service values and attitudes to students to promote understanding of human service ethics and their application in practice.
#20: The program shall provide experiences and support to enable students to develop awareness of their own values, personalities, reaction patterns, interpersonal styles, and limitations.
