Learning Objectives
*Meet professional standards while working in a supervised internship placement for a total of 120 hours

*Reflect on the development of academic and professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions obtained in a field-based setting

Assignments
Attendance
Students are expected to attend all face-to-face class sessions, arrive to class on time and remain for the duration of the class session.
Field Visit
Quarterly site visits are required in this program. Each student and field supervisor is expected to set aside approximately 45 minutes of their time for this visit. Students are responsible for setting up the field visit (coordinating the schedules), creating the agenda, and facilitating the meeting.

Seminar Facilitation
Work with partners to identify a relevant topic to address within the scope of course learning. Plan and implement a 20-minute session that introduces a topic, allows for learning on the topic through discussion or activity, promotes reflection and summarizes key points or learning achieved during your session.

Course Alignment with CSHSE National Standards
The standards below are taken from the National Standards of the Council for Standards in Human Service Education {for more info}. Standards are met in more than one course, but specifications may be met in only one course. Below are the specifications that have been designated for inclusion in this course.
