* Compare and contrast class-ism related to socio-economic stratification and how it is reflected in political ideologies that affect human services.
* Analyze organizational structures and design processes to initiate and sustain organizational change.
* Describe the relationships between human service agencies, political structures, political ideologies, and socio-economic class.

Assignment
Class Attendance and Participation
Every core class provides the opportunity to practice extemporaneous speaking, group facilitation, interviewing, and active listening skills. Students are expected to be on time, observe the time set for breaks, and stay for all of class.
Quizzes
There will be three quizzes based on the terms and concepts study guide. Each quiz is worth 10 points. Students should be able to define terms and describe concepts.
Analyze an Organizational System: Paper and Panel
Choose an organizational system you would like to research. Discuss the history, purpose, focus, relationships, strengths, and limitations of the organization.
Final Paper
In this paper, you should synthesize and integrate information from course materials including texts, articles, websites, and the reports and dialogue of others.
